Founded in 1978 in Curaçao, Antillean Soap Company — today known as ANSO — began with a clear mission: To provide high-quality cleaning products to the domestic markets of Curaçao, Aruba, and Bonaire. Supported by a market protection policy from the then Netherlands Antilles government, ANSO quickly established itself as a trusted local manufacturer of bar soaps, powders, and liquid cleaners.

1978
Antillean Soap Company is established
- The company enjoyed market protection from the Netherlands Antilles government, focusing on supplying Curaçao, Aruba, and Bonaire with a range of cleaning products.
2000
- As market protection policies were phased out around the year 2000, ANSO shifted its focus to exporting to other Caribbean islands and beyond.
- Expanding to over 20+ caribbean territories.
2010
- To meet diverse market needs, ANSO introduces an Econo Line, an Industrial Line, and continues developing its traditional Top Line.
2020
- ANSO products become available in over 17 markets, including Jamaica, Barbados, Suriname, Trinidad, and the Netherlands, supported by reputable regional distributors.
2021
- MetaCorp acquired Antillean Soap Company and welcomed it into its family of subsidiaries.
2022
- Years of innovation and investments to improve production, working environment, and employee development.
2025
- Antillean Soap Company is officially rebranded to ANSO.
- Product lines are rebranded and rearranged, providing a fresh new look, with the same amazing quality families have trusted and enjoyed for generation.
